Arsenal are reported to be lining up a sensational summer swoop for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
Sturridge is said to have become disgruntled with Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas after being made to play out wide and he could consider his future if the Gunners make an approach.
The 22-year-old has topped the goalscoring charts at Stamford Bridge with 10 strikes so far this season and is also disappointed that he has not been offered a new contract.
Sturridge still has two-and-a-half years on his current deal but would like improved terms following his performances this season.
Whether Chelsea will be willing to sell and whether Arsenal could afford him is another matter but reports claim that Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley has set the ball rolling in an attempt to land the player.
