Blackburn Rovers are reportedly planning to hold a clear-the-air meeting with wantaway defender Christopher Samba.
The 27-year-old is currently training with the reserves after being bombed out of the first-team in the wake of his decision to hand in a transfer request last month.
The centre-back is thought to be one of the club's highest earners on £60,000-a-week after signing a new contract until 2015 only 12 months ago.
Samba was desperate to secure a move away from Ewood Park before the window slammed shut at the end of January following speculation linking him with QPR and Tottenham, but the club refused to entertain the idea and relations have since become strained to say the least.
However, a truce could now be on the cards in the wake of Rovers' 7-1 hammering to Arsenal, despite manager Steve Kean's recent remarks that the club were considering legal action against him.
The defender may have accused the Venky's of lacking ambition since taking over, but the owners will also know that their survival chances in the Premier League will be better with him involved than the alternative.
