Everton captain Phil Neville has hailed Denis Stracqualursi after he scored his first Premier League goal against Chelsea on Saturday.
The striker, who is on a season-long loan from Argentine side Tigre, had a slow start to his Goodison career, but Neville believes he brings so much more than just goals.
Neville acknowledges that it took Stracqualursi a little time to break into the first-team, although he claims the players and management always felt he would eventually come good.
"From day one his attitude has been unbelievable," Neville told the Liverpool Echo.
"He's an outstanding trainer. He's a throwback to the good old days of a centre forward going out there and just eating centre-halves, it reminds me of when I used to go and watch Bury.
"At the start he found it difficult. He's from a foreign country and doesn't speak much English, but I tell you what he has a smile on his face and the lads have stuck to him from day one.
"It would probably have been easy for the manager to discard him, but because of his attitude he's getting his rewards and it's a great lesson to anyone out there."
