Scarlets came from behind to claim a share of the spoils, 20 points each, against Munster on Saturday night in the RaboDirect PRO12.
Neither side was able to take control of the game for the opening few minutes, but Scarlets were the first to make a breakthrough in the 11th minute when Sean Lamont charged over the line to give the hosts ahead. Rhys Priestland converted to give Scarlets a 7-0 lead.
Munster fought back however, and managed to get themselves on the scoreboard just six minutes later thanks to a try from Donnacha Ryan. Ian Ketaley converted to level the scores, but Munster continued to apply pressure and were soon in the lead.
Simon Zebo got loose and managed to bundle the ball over the line for Munster’s second try of the match, which Keatley again converted.
Keatley and Priestland then exchanged penalties to give the visitors a 17-10 lead at the break.
The second half began as a bit of a stalemate, with neither side able to break through and press an advantage.
Munster put another three points on the board courtesy of a Keatley penalty, but Scarlets continued to fight and got themselves back into the game.
Aaron Shingler managed to get another try for the home side in the 61st minute, which Priestland converted, before the Welsh international converted a late penalty to level the scores and ensure each side got a spoil of the points.
