In the first semi-final Carlo Ancelloti's Chelsea meet Martn O'Neill's Aston Villa.
Controversy has followed some Chelsea's players around this season but they remain favourites for the Cup and are also chasing a historic treble with the Premier League and Champions League.
Despite Aston Villa's early exit from this season's Europa League they have challenged all year for the fourth place in the Premier League and also made it to the Carling Cup Final and would relish another chance to lift some silverware.
The second semi final sees struggling Portsmouth face either Tottenham or Fulham.
Portsmouth have been beset with woe this season. On the field they're bottom of the Premier League and off it they are in financial administration but the FA Cup offers a silver lining to their fans and their future.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp would be relishing a trip to his former club Portsmouth. His new club Tottenham is having it's best season in years with a Champions Legaue place up for grabs along with the FA Cup.
