United target happy to stick with Toffees

Wonder kid Jack Rodwell says he is ignoring speculation linking him with a switch to Man Utd and is just concentrating on Everton.

The England Under-21 international has been winning lots of plaudits throughout the land for his displays in a Blue shirt and that has led to speculation that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to make a significant bid for him in the summer.

Rodwell is ignoring the speculation though and is concentrating on his Everton future.

"Every time I step on to the pitch, I give my all," Rodwell said.

"The manager (David Moyes) knows he can count on that. "

I would like to think I am level-headed enough to deal with that side of things and not let it affect me.

I just train hard every day and get on with doing my best for the team.

"I'm happy at Everton. I can't be anything else after the opportunity they have given me and the way things have gone."
