King blow for Spurs

by Admin , 10 March 2010 football news

Tottenham could be without skipper Ledley King for at least another two weeks as the defender struggles with a thigh injury.

King's injury problems have been well documented as he continues to struggle with chronic knee problems but this time it is a troublesome thigh injury that is keeping him out of the side.

The central defender picked up the injury during the 3-0 victory at Wigan last month but it is taking longer than expected to clear up and he is definitely set to miss out against Blackburn on Saturday.

There is some good news for boss Harry Redknapp though as Jermain Defoe is expected to return after struggling with a hamstring injury.
