Star drops transfer bombshell

by Admin , 10 March 2010 football news

Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios has set his sights on playing for a 'bigger' club and is targeting a move to Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has impressed at White Hart Lane since arriving from Wigan Athletic in a £12million deal last year and although he is happy at the club, he still has one eye on the future and is targeting a move to Madrid.

The midfielder's thoughts are not going to go down well with boss Harry Redknapp who will want his players fully focused on the job in hand as Spurs push for the top four.

"I am really happy at Tottenham but I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club," Palacios said in The Sun. "I would love to play for Real Madrid.

"Today, many people respect me in England. That's because of my hard-working attitude."
