Becks sees United winning it again

by Admin , 11 March 2010 football news

David Beckham has tipped former club Manchester United to win the Champions League after they knocked out his AC Milan side.

United powered into the last eight with a highly-impressive 4-0 second-leg success over Milan at Old Trafford to leave Becks insisting they are again the team to beat in Europe this season.

"When you get knocked out of a competition you kind of hope that the team that knocks you out goes all the way," he said afterwards.

"I really hope they go all the way."

Wayne Rooney was again Milan's chief tormentor as the England star scored twice while strikes from Ji-Sung Park and Darren Fletcher capped the fine win.

United now join Arsenal, Bayern Munich and surprise victors of Real Madrid, Lyon, in the last eight as they look to secure their fourth European Cup triumph and astute punters may now be tempted to use a £25 free bet to back them to be victorious at the Bernabeu at the end of the season.
