Five out of Rovers visit

by Admin , 12 March 2010 football news

Harry Redknapp says he is hopeful of having Jermaine Jenas back soon but will not be able to call on him for the visit of Blackburn.

Spurs will be without Ledley King (thigh), Aaron Lennon (groin), Jermaine Jenas (groin), Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) this weekend as the club's injury crisis shows no signs of easing.

Redknapp says he is hopeful of having Huddlestone and Jenas back soon but revealed it could be a while before Tottenham fans get to see Lennon back in action.

"Jermaine Jenas is probably the closest. He has had a hernia operation. He has started to do a bit of running, so hopefully he won't be too long. "

We're hopeful that Tom Huddlestone will be back as well pretty soon.

"Aaron has not started outside work again yet, he is not running or anything, so we will have to wait and see with him."

The only good news ahead of the visit of Rovers is that Jermain Defoe should be fit to start while Younnes Kaboul is available.
