McCarthy could go same again

by Admin , 12 March 2010 Wolverhampton Generic

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is set to name an unchanged side once again for Saturday's relegation showdown at Burnley.

McCarthy is being tipped to name the same side for the fifth successive match at Turf Moor after being impressed with his team's display in the 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester United last weekend.

Striker Stefan Maierhofer is fit after getting over an ankle injury he suffered but it seems he will only make the bench at best while the clash looks like coming too soon for midfielder Dave Edwards.

He is back in training after three months on the sidelines with an ankle problem but is not expected to return until next weekend's derby trip to Aston Villa.
