Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has revealed his love for City life in Birmingham after growing up on a small farm back in Ireland.
Doyle's current surroundings couldn't be more difference from the idyllic countryside setting in County Wexford, where he also used to help out at the village pub owned by his parents.
Now the Republic of Ireland international finds himself living smack bang in the centre of Britain's Second City and he couldn't be happier.
"Me and my fiancee really love living in the city centre. We've been here six months and I've loved every minute of it at the football club," the Irishman told the Sunday Mercury,
"It's cheesy to say it but I do really love the club and the area.
"I just like living in a city, most areas are newly-developed. I'm always amazed how you can get from the M6 into the city in literally five minutes.
"I grew up in the countryside so it's just nice to have everything on your doorstep."
