A late equaliser from Mihael Kovacevic completed a stunning comeback for Dundee United in their Scottish Cup quarter-final against Rangers, with the match finishing 3-3 and heading for a replay.
Substitute Andis Shala had given the visitors the lead when he was sent clear by Jon Daly in the 23rd minute. Shala - on for the stricken Damien Casalinuovo - advanced before slipping the ball under the body of Rangers 'keeper Allan McGregor.
Rangers were level in the 32nd minute. United keeper Dusan Pernis brought down Kenny Miller in the box and Kris Boyd stepped up the blast the penalty home.
He repeated the trick three minutes before half-time. Sean Dillon pushed Boyd in the box and the prolific striker converted his second spot-kick to make it 2-1.
The match appeared finished as a conquest when Nacho Novo drilled the ball past Pernis in the 48th minute, but United had other ideas and cut the deficit on 63 minutes when Steven Whittaker headed the ball into his own net.
Swiss defender Kovacevic completed the comeback when he struck home Shala's effort, which had rebounded off the Rangers bar, ten minutes from time.
