Wolves winger Matt Jarvis admitted victory over Burnley has given the players the confidence to believe they can survive the drop.
Jarvis netted the first in the victory over Burnley at the weekend and had a hand in the build up to the second to hand the win to the side which drags them three points clear of the drop zone.
"It was a very big win and getting three points is so important as we head towards the last nine games of the season," he told the Express and Star.
"We've done extremely well to beat one of our rivals - everyone was buzzing going back on the bus.
"Every other team who was in trouble still is because the battle will go right to the wire.
"We're digging in and we've made a great start to the final few games.
"We were back in today working hard ready for Saturday because we want to get some more points then."
