Rafa financial concerns

by Admin , 15 March 2010 Liverpool Generic

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says he fears for the future of the club if they do not secure long-term funding.

Benitez has not had the money to spend he would have liked and he believes the club need to secure a cash injection if they are going to be able to compete on a financial level with their rivals in the Premiership.

"My concern is about the future of the club, not one bad season," the Spaniard told the Liverpool Echo.

"The people who come in have to be the right people for the club.

"We have to take things forward for the good of the club and every day we are working hard."
