Canaries close in on striker

Norwich are reported to be closing in on a swoop for Scunthorpe striker Paul Hayes.

Hayes is due to fall out of contract in the summer and it looks as though he could be leaving on a free transfer as there is no sign of him being offered a new one.

Reports claim the Canaries could take him on loan for the rest of the season before offering him a more permanent deal at the end of the campaign if he impresses.
