Black Cats on trail of £15m striker

Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is interested in signing Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega, according to reports.


According to speculation in midweek, Aston Villa's chief scout Ian Storey-Moore is to personally check out the Colombian, who could cost as much as £15 million.

Sunderland are also keen on the 24-year-old, though, and there is no shortage of interest elsewhere in the Premier League with Birmingham, Stoke and Liverpool also said to be interested in Rodallega who has scored eight goals this season in his first year in England.
