Double defender dilemma for Owen

by Admin , 19 March 2010 Bolton Generic

Bolton will welcome back Sam Ricketts against Everton, while Gary Cahill has an outside chance of starting at Goodison Park.

Ricketts was suspended against Wigan last weekend after being sent off against Sunderland in the previous game and boss Owen Coyle now has to decide whether to bring him back in at the expense of Andy O'Brien.

There is a chance that both Ricketts and O'Brien could miss out if the Trotters boss decides to recall Cahill after the central defender made a speedy recovery after having a blood clot removed from his arm.

Elsewhere midfielder Mark Davies is also back fit following an ankle injury and could come into contention for the short trip to Merseyside.
