Hearts club captain Michael Stewart has revealed he is in talks with the club about extending his stay at Tynecastle.
Stewart's current deal expires at the end of the campaign but the 29-year-old has revealed he has entered talks about prolonging his stay with the Edinburgh side.
He said: "I started speaking to the club a couple of months ago and we're just in the process of trying to negotiate something.
"
That's the situation as it is at the moment; we're in the middle of talking and we'll see how it pans out."
