Kernan freshens things up

by Oli Skehan , 19 March 2010

Eoin Concannon is the injured Michael Meehan's replacement in Joe Kernan's Galway team to face Tyrone in Division One of the Allianz NFL on Sunday.

Galway were well beaten by Kerry in their last outing and the former Armagh boss has decided to freshen things up for the visit of Mickey Harte's men.

Declan Meehan comes in at right half-back in place of Donal O'Neill, while Fiacha Breathnach starts at centre-forward with Niall Coleman moving back to partner Paul Conroy in the middle of the field in place of the injured Barry Cullinane.

Meehan is expected to be ruled out of action until the Connacht SFC.

Galway (SF v Tyrone): E O Conghaile; D Reilly, F Hanley, D Burke; D Meehan, D Blake, G O'Donnell; P Conroy, N Coleman; G Sice, F Breathnach, J Bergin; E Cancannon, N Joyce, M Clancy.
