Dundee United boss Peter Houston has come out firing in defence of his midfield and insists there is no disciplinary problem.
Celtic caretaker boss Neil Lennon was critical of the Terrors' approach following Sunday's clash at Tannadice, in which Jenno Myrie-Williams was sent off after coming on as a substitute, but Houston has denied claims that his side are overly physical.
Houston said: "I keep hearing we're a big physical side. Fair enough, we are big at the back and up front.
"But you can't tell me a team with Morgaro Gomis, Prince Buaben, Craig Conway and Danny Swanson in midfield are too physical.
"They are a bunch of midgets.
"We're not a nasty team. We play at a tempo and go out to get in people's faces and I'm not going to make any apology for that. That's how we'll always play."
Houston was none too pleased by former referee Kenny Clark's comments that his side need to sort out a disciplinary problem, and suggested that his players have been dealt some harsh decision this season.
"Look at some of our red cards - Danny Swanson at St Johnstone where he got a straight red for something players get away with all the time," he added. "
"I don't think we have a disciplinary problem.
"It's the lack of consistency that is the problem."
