McLeish brings in young midfielder

Birmingham City have signed versatile Spanish midfielder Enric Valles.

The 20-year-old Spaniard joins the Blues as a free agent, having spent the last two seasons at Dutch side NAC Breda.

He is about to run out of contract in Holland and will become a Birmingham player on a one-year deal from July 1.

Previously, Valles played his football with Barcelona’s ‘B’ team and though he has not played a great deal of football with Breda he is seen as a great prospect by Blues boss Alex McLeish.
