Brazilian forward Robinho will return to Manchester City following his loan stay at Santos according to boss Roberto Mancini.
Robinho joined Santos on loan in January after struggling to cement a place in the starting XI at City and there had been speculation he would remain in his homeland following his loan spell with the Brazilian outfit.
However, Mancini has now confirmed Robinho will rejoin the rest of the City squad once his loan stay comes to an end.
Mancini said: "The situation is that Robinho will finish his contract with Santos. After that he will stay in Brazil for another week, play for the national team and after that he will return to Manchester City."
The former Inter Milan boss also claimed he would have no problem in welcoming the Samba star back into the City fold, but conceded it was down to Robinho as to whether he would remain at Eastlands.
