Sea Lord put in a triumphant performance to win the totesport Mile at Glorious Goodwood on Friday.
Lucrative handicap successes at the Curragh and Newmarket saw Mark Johnston's charge sent off at 6-1, and he travelled superbly under Royston Ffrench, soon tacking across to the rail.
A confident Frankie Dettori, aboard Invisible Man, put the frighteners on Sea Lord as a number of challengers lined up in the straight.
However, Ffrench's charge was not for passing and passed the post three-quarters of a length ahead of his closest rival.
