The best three-year-old fillies in Ireland will take on their British counterparts on Saturday when a field of seven go to post for the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes at Leopardstown.
Previous winners of the Group One contest include Rainbow View, Lush Lashes, Attraction and Soviet Song and as expected a high-class field has been declared for the 2010 renewal.
The Irish entry is headed by the Dermot Weld-trained Bethrah, who will be having her first start since winning the Irish 1000 Guineas in May.
She is joined in the line-up by Aidan O'Brien's Coronation Stakes heroine Lillie Langtry and Hen Night from David Wachman's yard.
Gile Na Greine was only 17th in the Irish 1000 Guineas but she managed to finish second to Lillie Langtry at Royal Ascot and she will bid to return to her best form when she represents Jim Bolger.
Jacqueline Quest crossed the line first in the English 1000 Guineas only to lose the race in the stewards’ room. Henry Cecil's filly was last seen finishing fifth at Goodwood but she will travel to Ireland along with Falmouth Stakes winner Music Show from Mick Channon's yard.
The line-up is completed by James Fanshawe's Spacious, who was second to Music Show at Newmarket.
