Rangers produced a fine second half display to defeat Motherwell 4-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Nick Blackman's powerful header saw the visitors lead at the break, but goals by Steven Naismith, Steven Davis, Kenny Miller and Vladimir Weiss ensured that Rangers maintained their 100 percent start to SPL season.
A deflected strike by Naismith in first half almost gave Rangers an fortunate lead, with the hosts on top early on.
However, Motherwell came close to going ahead when Keith Lasley's follow-up from a Keith Lasley header was blocked, before the latter shot wide following a long throw from Blackman.
At the other end, Steven Whittaker should have pulled the ball back for Miller, but headed over bar after the rebound from his own strike had fallen to him.
Motherwell grabbed the lead soon before the break, with Blackman heading powerfully in off the inside of the bar, followong Jamie Murphy's cross from the left.
Rangers, though, were quick out of the traps in the second period, levelling through Naismith's finish with the outside of his boot, following Lafferty's pass.
The Glasgow side hit the front through Davis, who broke from midfield and scored from the edge of the box, two minutes after the hour.
Miller added the third three minutes later, heading Naismith's cross powerfully home, and Weiss soon ensured victory with Rangers' fourth, as he went past goalkeeper Darren Randolph to slide in a finish, after combining with Lafferty.
Celtic will once again draw level on points with rivals Rangers at the top of the SPL table, should they win at Dundee United on Sunday.
