Kris Commons was the Celtic hero on Saturday as the Hoops emerged 2-0 winners over Hamilton in the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League.
Before kick-off, the home fans showed their support for Neil Lennon, giving the Celtic manager a tremendous reception as he took his seat in the stand at the start of his four-match ban from the dugout.
Commons lit-up a first-half devoid of chances when he put the Hoops in charge just before the interval with a venomous 25-yard strike into the top corner of the Accies net.
The winger sealed the win after the break with a ruthless finish after a defensive blunder from David Elebert had presented him with a clear shot on goal from 16 yards.
Celtic are now eight points clear of Rangers at the top of the table but Walter Smith's side have three games in hand ahead of their trip to St Mirren on Sunday.
