There are four changes to the Westmeath side that will line out against Antrim in Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC qualifier at Casement Park.
Pat Flanagan’s men were well beaten by Wexford in the Leinster quarter-final last time out, and the manager has reacted by bringing U21 stars James Dolan and John Heslin into the team.
David Duffy, who has long had injury problems, is also back in the fray and will start in midfield, with Michael Curley another who did not start at Wexford Park but who will play in Belfast.
Curley replaces the injured Francis Boyle at full back, with Dolan starting at left wing back.
Paul Sharry, David Glennon and dual star Paul Greville are the other players to drop out, with Heslin featuring in a new-look half forward line that also includes the moved Doran Harte.
There also a number of other positional changes, while Denis Glennon will captain the side from full forward.
Westmeath’s hurlers suffered a qualifier defeat at Casement Park last week, so the footballers have double reason not to go the same way.
