Dinny Cahill's Antrim secured an eight-point win over Carlow in Saturday's All-Ireland SHC Qualifier at Casement Park making it a day to remeber for followers of the Saffrons after the footballers' success over Westmeath at the Belfast venue earlier in the afternoon.
The hosts bossed proceedings for much of the first-half with Cushendall's Neil McManus particularly effective but despite their efforts it was 0-9 apiece at the break thanks to the exploits of Ruairi Dunbar, Craig Doyle and Shane Kavanagh.
Antrim edged ahead again after the interval but a Craig Doyle goal midway through the second period put Kevin Ryan's brave Barrowsiders in contention again.
However, Antrim reeled off four consecutive scores and ran out relatively comfortable winners, 0-23 to 1-12, McManus ending with an impressive haul of 0-9.
Neal McAuley, Paul Shiels and Karl Stewart were also among the scorers while Dunbar did most of the damage for Carlow.
