Fermanagh were "probably naive" in Ruislip on Saturday but "London's hunger" is what won the day according to Erne boss John O'Neill.
The Ulster side, who were put to the sword by John Brennan's Derry in the provincial quarter-final, slumped to a six-point defeat to the Exiles in Round One of the All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers in the English capital and to his credit the Lisnakea man was fulsome in his praise of Paul Coggins' historic charges.
"London's hunger was phenomenal," a dejected O'Neill said.
"We didn't match it. Good luck to them; they'll give whoever they meet in the next round plenty of trouble."
O'Neill added: "It was a bad day at the office for us.
"London were the better team all over the pitch and we hadn't enough guys to step up to the mark. London took their chances and we were probably naive."
