Three and easy for Tykes

Barnsley claimed a comfortable 3-0 pre-season victory at Hartlepool thanks to two goals from Danny Haynes.

Reuben Noble-Lazarus opened the scoring after 16 minutes at Victoria Park as he drilled an unstoppable shot past Scott Flinders.And it took just five minutes for Haynes to double the advantage, pouncing after former Tykes stopper Flinders could only parry an effort from Noble-Lazarus.Antony Sweeney saw a great effort hit the crossbar for the hosts just before the break, but it was left for Haynes to grab his second of the evening with a well-taken finish after 63 minutes as the Pools defence looked for offside.
