Robbie Brady netted on his debut as Hull registered an impressive 3-0 victory over Liverpool in a pre-season friendly at the KC Stadium.
Brady, signed on loan from Manchester United, opened the scoring after 21 minutes, produceing a fine curling effort into the bottom corner.
Robert Koren doubled the Tigers' lead 12 minutes later as he drilled home following a flowing move involving several players.
Liverpool introduced the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson at the break with the latter being denied by City goalkeeper Adriano Basso, another half-time substitute, early in the second half.
But Hull extended their lead in the 57th minute when Jay Simpson reacted quickest to latch on to Dele Adebola's touch.The Premier League side did have the ball in the net with 21 minutes left but Kuyt's effort was ruled out for offside.
