Collins: Ipswich move could become permanent

by Setanta Staff , 14 September 2011

Danny Collins has admitted his loan switch from Stoke to Ipswich could become a permanent move.

The 31-year-old defender agreed a three-month spell with the Tractor Boys last week, going on to make his debut in Saturday's 2-0 loss at Blackpool.

"I'll obviously see how it goes, if I enjoy it then perhaps I'll look in January at an extension or a permanent move," he told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"We'll see how it goes in the three months I'm here, but I can't rule out."
