All-Ireland winners Alan Brogan and Michael Fennelly have claimed more awards after being named the Texaco Footballer and Hurler of the Year respectively.
On the back of winning the GPA/GAA Opel Footballer of the Year award, Brogan succeeds his brother Bernard as the holder of the prestigious gong, with the awards themselves in their 54th year.
He adds the personal accolades to his All-Ireland medal, something Fennelly has more than one of with the Kilkenny hurlers. And he added to that haul this year on his way to also winning the GPA/GAA Opel and Texaco awards for his codes.
Meanwhile, Kerry legend Pat Spillane was named the Hall of Fame award winner, 25 years after winning his second Texaco Sportstar for Gaelic Football gong.
