Taarabt eyes another start

by Setanta Staff , 30 December 2011 football news

Midfielder Adel Taarabt will hope to keep his place in the QPR side for the New Year's Eve trip to Arsenal after impressing at Swansea.

The enigmatic playmaker made his first R's start since October in the 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium and turned in one of his most effective performances in the top flight to date.

He is likely to be retained by boss Neil Warnock, although there are likely to be several changes during what is a busy schedule and ahead of the home clash with Norwich on Monday.

Winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has recovered from injury and will hope to be involved at the Emirates.
