Wesley Sneijder expects to remain at Inter Milan until at least the end of the season.
Sneijder's proposed move to Manchester United was one of the longest-running transfer sagas of the summer with the Dutchman considered an ideal replacement for Paul Scholes but a deal never transpired.
Rumours linking Sneijder with the defending Premier League champions resurfaced last month and their recent dip in form resulted in even more speculation over the midfielder's future at Inter Milan.
Indeed, it was suggested Inter sporting director Marco Branca had already held talks with United officials over a possible deal, but Sneijder does not believe there is any truth in the rumours.
"If I must give a percentage for it, I think I am 90 per cent certain I will stay [until at least the summer]," Sneijder is quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
"I enjoy myself here at the moment and at this point I don't have anything to choose from.
"I don't say that I am 100% certain, because something unexpected can always happen."
