Monaghan's Vincent Corey is determined to enjoy every minute of action he can get following a couple of seasons of setbacks.
The versatile Clontibret clubman, who made his return to the county side in the McKenna Cup last weekend, missed the 2010 provincial final against Ulster kingpins Tyrone and his luck failed to turn in 2011 when he was struck down by a number of hamstring tears which saw his participation in the championship limited to just five minutes.
"As any player who has been injured for a while knows, as soon as you are back you appreciate every bit of game time you get," Corey is quoted as saying in the Irish News.
"You look forward to it then, whereas if you're playing all the time, and you're injury-free, you maybe take it for granted.
"Looking at this year, definitely from my own perspective I will be taking each game as it comes, try to enjoy each game, and just appreciate being able to play."
