Midfielder Josh McEachran has admitted the chance to work with Brendan Rodgers was the deciding factor in him joining Swansea.
McEachran revealed that the Swans boss had been in regular contact with him as he finalised the terms on his loan deal from Chelsea.
The England under-21 international is a big fan of Swansea's style of football and told Chelsea TV: "He (Rodgers) wants me to go and play but is not putting any pressure on me, he just wants me to play my football.
"The Premier League is the best in the world and it's the only place I want to play my football.
"Brendan has done a terrific job bringing them up and everybody thought they would struggle but they have kept the same pattern of play, they play up from the back and have had a couple of good results lately.
"I was only 12 or 13 when Brendan was youth team manager but I am good friends with his son Anton. I used to go to their house when I was younger."
