Robinson's plea to Scots

by Setanta Staff , 25 January 2012

Scotland must 'deliver' in the upcoming RBS 6 Nations as opposed to talking 'about what we can do', according to coach Andy Robinson.

The former England coach is looking forward to the upcoming competition, as he hopes the improvements he has implemented in the side since taking over north of the border will finally come to fruition in 2012.

And, despite the loss of influential Saracens flanker Kelly Brown for the championship due to a knee injury which requires surgery, Robinson is looking for Scotland to prove they are a lot better than a recent RBS 6 Nations record of two wins in ten matches suggests.

Robinson, who has confirmed Ross Ford as his new captain for the upcoming tournament, said: "It's time for us to deliver.

"We've had a lot of talk about what we can do, our potential, but we haven't actually delivered results in the Six Nations in the last two years.

"So a big aim for us is to start well and this first game is a key area for us to get our first win."
