Senderos wants FA Cup run

by Setanta Staff , 25 January 2012 Senderos wants FA Cup run

Fulham defender Philippe Senderos is targeting FA Cup success against former club Everton in Friday's FA Cup fourth-round clash.

The 26-year-old Switzerland international made three appearances for the Toffees during a short-term loan deal in 2010 during his time at Arsenal and expects a tough cup game.

"Everton are a decent side and they have players with a lot of quality," Senderos told the Fulham's official website. "On their day Everton are a side that can match any team and they are one that knows all about the FA Cup.

"We know that we haven't had the best of luck in previous trips to Goodison, but hopefully we can change that on Friday.

"We all want to leave the ground on Friday night knowing that it is Fulham that are in the draw for the next round.

"We're out of Europe now, so it's a good chance for us to make up for that."
