Baggies manager Roy Hodgson has a number of injury problems to contend with ahead of his side's FA Cup fourth round clash with Norwich at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Midfielder Paul Scharner has been troubled by an Achilles in recent weeks and is struggling to be fit for the visit of the Canaries. Hodgson will probably opt to rest Irish striker Shane Long who is suffering from a back complaint, with Simon Cox and Marc-Antoine Fortune both in line to deputise for him up front.
Skipper Chris Brunt (fractured ankle), fellow midfielder Zoltan Gera (knee) and defenders Steven Reid (ankle and knee) and Billy Jones (hamstring) all remain on the sidelines.
Norwich manager may call on the services of striker James Vaughan after he scored on his comeback from a long-term knee injury in the 3-3 reserve match draw against Chelsea in midweek.
Lambert was further boosted by the return of defenders Elliott Ward and Marc Tierney in midweek after recovering from knee and groin injuries respectively. On-loan defender Kyle Naughton will not feature after being denied permission to play be parent club Tottenham.
