by Setanta Staff , 31 January 2012 Everton seal Jelavic coup

Everton boss David Moyes has secured the signature of Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic from Rangers in a £5.5million deal.

The Croatia international joined Rangers for £4million from Rapid Vienna in 2010 and has an impressive strike rate in the SPL, with 30 goals in 45 appearances.

Moyes has now sealed the capture of the 26-year-old striker in a £5.5million deal.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has secured the signature of striker Louis Saha on loan from Everton for the remainder of the season.

The Frenchman will spend the rest of the campaign on loan at White Hart Lane, with the option of a further year on a permanent basis after this season if Saha can prove his fitness.
