Sebastian Vettel was positive about Red Bull's new car for the 2012 F1 season, but feels it will difficult for him to win the title.
The 24-year-old German, who is targeting a third successive drivers' crown in 2012, claimed there were no teething problems for him or team-mate Mark Webber when they tested the RB8.
"The first time I jumped into the car for the seat fit - checking the position, checking your pedals, see if everything works - I think it was the same for Mark and myself, we felt extremely comfortable," the world champion said.
"Everything went well and we got our comfortable position, fairly quickly.
"The RB8 was pretty straightforward, so we hope it continues that way."
Red Bull designer Adrian Newey, speaking at the car launch in Milton Keynes, revealed that they tried to keep the car similar to last year's which helped them comfortably win the constructors' championship with 650 points, 153 points clear of nearest rivals McLaren.
However regulations meant they had to drop the nose which Newey feels makes it "slightly ugly looking".
Meanwhile Vettel has admitted that he will have his work cut out to finish ahead of the field this year ahead of the season opener in Melbourne on March 18.
He added: "It would be wrong to go into this season and expect 2011 to happen again, as in getting into the lead early and having a very big gap to other competitors.
"I think it will be very, very tight this year."
