Everton defender Leighton Baines admits the squad are "desperate" for a good cup run to give the club's fans something to smile about.
The Toffees, losing FA Cup finalists in 2009 and looking to end a 16-year trophy drought, face npower Championship side Blackpool in the fifth round at the weekend.
David Moyes' side have won their last three matches at Goodison Park - against Fulham, Manchester City and Chelsea - and Baines hopes that run can continue to edge them closer to another Wembley appearance.
"It is a massive game for us," the England left-back said of the visit of the Seasiders.
"We are desperate for a cup run as we know how much we all enjoyed it last time."
Blackpool set up the clash with the Toffees after seeing off Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in a fourth round replay after a 1-1 draw in the original tie at Bloomfield Road.
