Carlos Cuellar is content to be Aston Villa's Mr Versatility if it keeps him in the starting line-up.
Cuellar had operated mainly at right-back and centre-back for Villa but impressed at left-back in place of the axed Stephen Warnock against Manchester City on Sunday.
The Spaniard was chosen as Villa's official man of the match.
Cuellar, 30, told the Birmingham Mail: "It is a long time since I played at left-back. I used to play there when I was 18.
"It takes a while to get used to it but after a few minutes I felt comfortable and enjoyed it.
"I will play anywhere. For me the best feeling is being in the team. I don't care where I play."
