Blues linked with £21m swoop

by Setanta Staff , 15 February 2012 Chelsea

Fiorentina have revealed that Chelsea target Stevan Jovetic could be sold this summer if they receive a big enough offer.

The Montenegro attacker has been one of the star performers in Serie A this season after firing home 12 goals in 17 starts and the Italian press have linked Chelsea with a £21million swoop.

Chelsea's Champions League opponents have also been linked and the Italian side have confirmed they could be forced to cash in if a big offer comes in for the player.

Fiorentina club manager Vincenzo Guerini wants to keep the 22-year-old and build his side around him but he also knows money talks and he may lose his star player.

"Around Jovetic we are building something important because the club is happy with him," Guerini told Radio CRC. "I did not expect that he would play so many games and put in these performances after his knee injury. "

Jovetic to Napoli? The intention of the board is that we build a group around him, however in today's world the word 'unsellable' no longer exists.

"If there arrives an indecent proposal, and it is possible that it could arrive, then we will consider it."
