Chisora ready for Klitschko

by Setanta Staff , 15 February 2012

British hopeful Dereck Chisora insists he can cause a huge upset and beat Vitali Klitschko in Munich on Saturday.

Chisora has lost two of his last three bouts, against Tyson Fury and Robert Helenius, but the 28-year-old insists those defeats count for very little.

Indeed, Chisora's split decision defeat at the hands of Helenius in front of a partisan crowd in Finland has been questioned.

Klitschko insists he felt Chisora deserved the win in Helsinki, which in part convinced the Ukrainian to take the fight with Chisora.

However, Klitschko has not suffered defeat since his 2003 loss to Lennox Lewis and Chisora is considered the massive underdog ahead of the meeting in Germany.

Chisora is well aware that Klitshcko, the WBC Heavyweight champion, is considered the favourite but the British star insists he can cause an upset.

"I don't care what people think," Chisora told Sky Sports News. "They are not the ones who are going into the ring. I am the one who is doing the fighting so I will decide what happens.

"I have taken those defeats and now here I am boxing for a world title. And it wasn't a defeat against Helenius in Finland, I was robbed.

"Being defeated and being robbed are two different things. I knew I had won the fight that night. I was robbed."
