Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has revealed he is ready to send goalkeeper Joe Hart out on loan to aid his development.
The England Under-21 international lost his place at Eastlands after the arrival of Shay Given in January, and Hughes believes a temporary move may be the best solution for both player and club.
"Joe is frustrated and obviously wants to play,” he told the club’s official website.
"We will look at his situation in the coming weeks and it might be to both Joe's and the club's benefit if he did go out on loan.
"He'd be playing on a regular basis and, given his ability, he would no doubt improve his standing in the game and help his development."
Birmingham are said to be interested in signing Hart on loan.
