Danny Higginbotham has pledged his future to Stoke City, therefore ruling out a move to Ipswich Town.
The former Sunderland defender has been forwarded as one of a number of players who could be reunited with ex-Black Cats boss Roy Keane.
Town have also been linked with Carlos Edwards, Daryl Murphy and Paul McShane as Keane has money to spend to finance a promotion bid.
However, Higginbotham has insisted he has no plans to uproot and move to East Anglia after helping Stoke enjoy a fine season.
"I have been happiest here," said the 30-year-old in The Sentinel.
"These reports are pie in the sky and, besides, I don't see any reason why I would want to move.
"I want to be part of Stoke's success over the next few years.
