Reported £6 million Fulham and Portsmouth target Momo has revealed his admiration for The Premier League.
The 26-year-old has made a name for himself with Spanish second division side Xerez, who are currently fighting for Primera Liga promotion, and he has refused to close the door on a possible move to England.
Momo has committed himself to the Azulinos but at the same time said he is excited by all the talk surrounding a possible transfer to England.
When asked about Fulham’s and Portsmouth’s reported interest in his services, Momo told Diario de Jerez: “I don’t know anything about what people are talking about. Neither the club nor my agent told me anything.
“The Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world, if not the best one, and for sure this is a good sign. Anyway, I am pretty much excited to play in the Spanish top division with Xerez.
“Are you saying that they have offered €6 million for me? I am only aware of what has been published in the press. If something was due to happen one day, we would have a close look at it, about the conditions and the entire topic.
“At the end of the day, the truth is that I would be happy to be playing my football within this league.”
